But in 1986, much of the world was still blissfully unaware of the Icelandic musician's penchant for the absurd. When Bjork performed on Icelandic television seven months pregnant and wearing a midriff-revealing shirt, outraged viewers complained and one reportedly even had a heart attack. Bjork played it a bit cooler when she became pregnant in 2002 to the point where although her belly appeared in the music video for "It's In Our Hands," no viewers blamed her for their organ failure.
